The Emma is a 36’’ x 48’’ California inspired oil painting and a great way of adding texture and character to a home or office space. The painting gets her name from Shan's dearest friend, Emma, whose personality traits are exactly what the piece needed - a touch of sensitivity, elegance & sassiness.
A total of 21 ounces of paint was used over the canvas’ superficies. And that, along with the use of the spatulas, are what have allowed the painting’s striking textures. Due to their dense consistencies, the oil paints took a total of 504 hours to dry, making the realization of this piece a little more than a month long project.
Dimensions: 36’’ x 48’’ & 3/4’’ thick
Stretched Canvas: Quality cotton | Ready to hang
Protection: Dammar Varnish
Canvas not framed (artist’s framing suggestion: floating frame)
* The artwork gets wrapped in glassine paper when shipped to prevent moisture and damages.
